Ikebana Workshop - 14th May @4pm
Ikebana, the Japanese art of flower arrangement. It has gained vast popularity all over the world today. Ikebana is not only an art of arranging flowers but is often regarded as a meditative activity. It is an ancient technique, using a few pieces of flowers with tree branches and leaves making it a minimalistic yet unique arrangement. It often reflects nature and the message conveyed to the recipients.
You will learn how to handle fresh flowers. Incorporating geometrical aesthetics by creating artistic lines, shapes, and curves yet still keeping them fresh for a long time.
You will be arranging Ikebana in your own container which will be provided and can be taken home.
